Heart of Compassion is a Non-Governmental Organisation that was founded by Teresia Wairimu Ngichiri in 2013. We work to eradicate jiggers in societies where jiggers have infested poor people be it children or adults. Not only does the organization work hard to eradicate jiggers but also feed the hungry people, donate items like martrices, blankets, among other aid we give to the poor and jigger infested people. Teresia Wairimu, the then 12 year old girl, visited her grandmother in Murang'a and saw children and adults infested by jiggers. Her passion to help these people grew massively into her as she grew up. As a grown woman now she visits the jiggers infested people where she washes their legs, donates items to them, and speaks for them.
